November 11, 2008: The current dislocation in the markets and the economy are only the beginning. Money that is backed by empty promises, deficit spending without constraint, soft-money lobbying to control government policy, and elitists robbing the Citizens' Treasury are all abhorrent policies increasingly being perpetrated in the light of day. Tyranny flourishes when good men and women turn a blind eye and do not act to stem its proliferation. I can no longer sit idly by while this great republic is being attacked from within and from without by the most despicable threat this nation has ever faced.

Hope exists, if we as citizens learn that we must become involved in our governance to return this nation to a constitutional republic, and thereby recreate an environment where all have an opportunity to prosper as was originally intended by the Founding Fathers. We must strive to identify those who work against us in this noble pursuit - and we must act to stop them, each in his or her own way. Good men and women banded together and dedicated to spreading freedom and justice are an unstoppable force.

The structure for this website has been in place since February of 2008, but it is only in this November commentary that I begin in earnest. I share this thought with you so that you understand that this endeavor is not a capricious or self-serving action, but rather was born with the idea that there is a compelling need for you, the reader, to understand what is going on in this country, and indeed the world.

Why should you even care? As mentioned, actions formerly relegated to the darkness of sleazy secret deals are increasingly being perpetrated in the light of day, an ominous implication for our future wellbeing. The progression of tyranny goes through definable stages. When corruption becomes apparent to even the casual observer, the cancer is well advanced and death is near.

In Germany they first came for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant.

and by that time no one was left to speak up.

The threat is very real. We must all work together for the solution. There is no reason that we as a nation and as a world cannot pave the way for a new renaissance of health, wealth and prosperity for all.
